FL Trip Day 2 Cont.

So after leaving the plaza we accidentally stumbled upon on old fort that was a major part of Mobile history, Fort Conde. It was great ,it was FREE to get in and it had most of the South wall of it up and open with photos, displays, and dioramas set up the kids had fun running through the small passage ways. Then we discovered a Museum of Mobile across the street that had some of the local history and artifacts from the early Spanish explores to the more modern history of World War II, segregation/ the slave trade, and a pirate exhibit. The kids enjoying just being out and looking at all the stuff. We were glad to have a break and learned that it would be nice to come back and learn more about Mobile, AL. We ended up staying in Madison, FL for the night at about 9:30 PM and we all stayed up late watching the Discovery channel. Today we plan on making the last part of the drive to Coco Beach to our other hotel and do some visiting of the Kennedy Space Center today. Will post more soon. Kids looking at Mardi Gras outfits, a carriage display, Merlova on rod iron bench, pirate kids with treasure.

Looks like you guys are having a lot of fun! I bet you guys are excited to see the laaunch. How cool is that?! Just to answer your question from before, I have only been scrap booking for 3 years. I love it though. I will be getting out my stuff and working on it a lot this week because Greg is TDY. :-) Have fun in FL!
